ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREIn a wheeled vehicle such as a dump truck propelled byelectric motors built into the respective wheels, a power plantis provided on a removable base for the generation of electricenergy to be fed to the motors. The power plant comprises anelectric generator and a pair of prime movers such as dieselengines on the opposite sides of the generator. This generatorhas its armature and magnetic field structure coupled directryto the respective prime movers thereby to be rotated in oppositedirections relative to each other for increased power output.
