The device 1 for the management of a plurality electricbattery elements 2 connected in series, comprises aplurality of battery management modules 4, each managementmodule being connected in parallel to the terminals of arespective battery element 2 and supplied by its outputvoltage, the management modules 4 including a digitalcircuit 11 and being connected in series by at least adigital liaison 9, 9' so as to exchange binary informationbetween said digital circuit 11 and a control unit 5 ofthe battery, and is characterised in that at least acapacitor 8, 8' is connected in series on said digitalliaison 9, 9' so that the binary information may beexchanged between each management module 4 and the unitcontrol 5, independently of the electric potentials at theterminals of the battery elements 2.
