PURPOSE: Functional rice produced by exposing polished rice to ozone gas and mixing with agricultural by-product materials is provided. It is removed from pesticide residues, heavy metal or the like and contains rich nutrients. Therefore, it is beneficial to the human health. CONSTITUTION: Polished rice is exposed to ozone gas after a typical milling process and then mixed with agricultural by-product materials such as barley, unpolished rice, black rice, compressed wheat or the like in a predetermined ratio.
