PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle controller capable of correcting the wheel diameter difference of each wheel appropriately in speed sensorless vector control for controlling the torque of a motor without detecting the rotational speed of the motor. PSOLUTION: The electric vehicle controller comprises a VVVF inverter for inverting DC power into AC power, a vector control operating section for controlling the inverter by estimating the rotational speed of the motor, and a means arranged in a central command section and correcting the wheel diameter difference of each wheel wherein the wheel diameter correction means corrects the wheel diameter difference of each wheel based on a speed detected by a speed meter, a brake unit, a security unit, or the like, in an electric vehicle formation other than the electric vehicle controller.
