PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a battery easily and precisely, and to enhance fuel consumption greatly by managing appropriate battery balance while taking account of regeneration. PSOLUTION: The battery management device 32 performs charging by outputting a target voltage level to an inverter 11 without controlling power generation torque of a motor/generator 15 directly. A 36 V battery 16 is charged by regeneration, or the like, and normally set with a voltage level corresponding to preset battery residual capacity of 70%. If a predetermined ratio or more of regenerative state is counted for a predetermined time before starting normal charging, the voltage being outputted normally to the inverter 11 is set at a level corresponding to the ratio of regeneration time with reference to a preset map for a predetermined time of normal charging.
