January 17, 2017 — Jake officially launches Team 10.

Jake launched Teen Entertainment and Media Kingdom, AKA TeamDom, a media conglomerate that focuses on building teen entertainment brands, celebrities, and businesses. As part of TeamDom, Jake also launched Team 10, a talent label that finds YouTube talent and helps them build their brands in a shared environment. The original members of Team 10 were Jake, Alissa Violet, Alex Lange, Neels Visser, and the Dobre Twins — all of whom moved into Jake's home, called the Team 10 house.

February 22, 2017 — Jake kicks Alissa out of the Team 10 house.

In a huge social media blowup, Jake kicked Alissa Violet out of the Team 10 house, accusing the YouTuber of cheating on him.

The two stars clearly had some sort of relationship in their videos together and even sold merchandise with their fan ship name, Jalissa, on it — but they'd never confirmed their relationship.

During their YouTube war, Jake claimed they were together and cited Alissa's infidelity as the reason he was kicking her out of the Team 10 house. Alissa, however, claimed Jalissa was never real because Jake hooked up with a string of other girls right in front of her face. She also claimed that Jake used her feelings for him to make money and told her she wouldn't have amounted to anything without him.

Jake and Team 10 dropped a YouTube diss track called "It's Everyday Bro." The track was mainly about how rich and famous Jake is, but he definitely worked in some digs at Alissa Violet with the help of Alissa's ex Team 10 bestie, Tessa Brooks.

"And you know I kick them out, if they ain't with the crew / Yeah, I'm talking about you, you beggin' for attention talking s*** on Twitter, too," Jake raps, alluding to his fallout with Alissa.

Then Tessa took a shot at her. "Let me educate you, and I ain't talkin' book / Panera is your home? So stop calling my phone," Tessa raps. It's a clear dig at Alissa, who Jake claims to have "discovered" while she was working at Panera.

"I fly like a drone," Tessa continues. "They buyin' like cologne / Yeah I smell good. Is that your boy's cologne?"

The diss track racked up over 100 million views and hit the Billboard Hot 100. But it also became the 7th most disliked YouTube video in YouTube history.

June 8, 2017 — Alissa exposes Jake and Team 10's crazy rules.

In a YouTube video called "What you've been waiting for," Alissa finally revealed her side of the story when it comes to her experience with Jake and Team 10. In the emotional video, she revealed that she was in love with Jake and was allegedly put through hell while she lived with him.

According to her, Team 10 members had to follow very strict rules imposed by Jake, including not being allowed to drink in the Team 10 house and having to wake up by 10a.m. for filming or risk having to pay a hefty fine. They also had to give Jake 20% of their revenue and have any prospective guests to the house approved by Jake.

Alissa says that she and Jake were sharing a room, but Jake would ask her to leave some nights so he could hook up with other girls, which drove her crazy with jealousy. She claims Jake and the guys in the house would have guests over all the time, but whenever she wanted to invite a boy over, Jake wouldn't allow it.

In the end, Alissa said she couldn't take Jake's hot and cold behavior towards her. The one time she decided to be “savage” back to him (it's not clear what she means by this), Jake supposedly flipped out and kicked her out of the house.

June 21, 2017 — Alissa makes things Insta official with FaZe Banks.

Alissa Violet announced she was officially moving on from Jake Paul with fellow YouTuber, FaZe Banks, on Instagram with the cutest pic of them kissing at the Electric Daisy Carnival.

This doesn't seem to have much to do with Jake, but Alissa's relationship with Banks comes into play later on.

July 18, 2017 — Team 10 is making their neighborhood a living hell.

KTLA reported that Jake's crazy stunts and parties were wreaking havoc in his L.A. neighborhood. One incident in particular involved Jake setting a ton of furniture on fire in an empty swimming pool, endangering neighbors with the smoke. When he was confronted about his antics in the KTLA news segment, he arrogantly brushed off his neighbor's concerns. He even jumped onto the back of a KTLA news van when the interview was over.

Jake's neighbors warned that they were considering filing a class action lawsuit against him if he didn't quit his crazy antics.

July 24, 2017 — Jake leaves "Bizaardvark" under mysterious circumstances.

In a joint statement from Disney Channel and Jake Paul, it was announced that Jake was leaving Bizaardvark halfway through the second season of the show.

"We’ve mutually agreed that Jake Paul will leave his role on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark,” a Disney spokesperson said. “On behalf of the production company, the cast, and crew, we thank Jake for his good work on the TV series for the past 18 months and extend our best wishes to him.”

Jake claimed he left the show because he wanted to focus on his YouTube brand and didn't want to play a teenager for the next four years of his life.

Fans weren't convinced Jake's Disney Channel exit was a mutual decision, many believing that Disney Channel wanted to cut ties with the YouTuber because his recent antics did not align with Disney's child-friendly image.

August 1, 2017 — Fans blast Jake for a xenophobic comment.

Jake caught heat from fans for a xenophobic comment he made about a Kazakhstani fan who asked him for a picture in a daily vlog titled "SELF-DRIVING TESLA DRIVE-THRU PRANK."

"Where are you from?" Jake asked the fan, who had a distinct accent. The fan responds by saying he's from Kazakhstan.

That's when Jake says: "It sounds like you're just going to blow someone up. You're like 'Send the nuke!"'

Fans and critics alike blasted Jake on Twitter for stereotyping someone in this way.

August 5, 2017 — Jake drops an apology diss track.

Following his string of controversies, Jake Paul dropped another rap single called "That Ain't in the News." In the song, he briefly apologized for his actions, but spent the majority of the song blasting the media for "hating" on him and only covering him negatively while ignoring the cool things he's done.

August 10, 2017 — Jake's former classmates expose him as a bully.

Some of Jake's former classmates took issue with some of his "That Ain't in the News" lyrics, particularly the verse where he raps:

"Where was y'all at when I was in the lunchroom / Stopping kids from getting bullied? / They were scared to come to school, man."

Those classmates took to Twitter and claimed Jake wasn't a hero for the school's bullied students, but rather the bully.

August 13, 2017 — Jake apologizes for his behavior.

On the heels of winning Choice YouTuber at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards, Jake took a moment in his acceptance speech to address his recent string of controversies.

"The past few months have humbled me quite a bit, and I have to be more mindful of my actions and words and how they impact others," Jake said. "It's been a crazy journey, and I just want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. I'm gonna forget all the negative press and focus on being the best version of myself."

August 18, 2017 - Jake loses 60K subscribers after accusing FaZe Banks of assaulting his assistant.

In a YouTube video titled "My assistant was assaulted," Jake and Team 10 accused Alissa Violet's new boyfriend, FaZe Banks, of assaulting his assistant Meg at a club in L.A. called Warwick.

They claimed that Meg spotted Banks making out with some girl who wasn't Alissa. When Meg was on her way back from the bathroom, they contended that Banks clotheslined her and dragged her into his party space in an attempt to kiss her, leaving a nasty bruise on her neck.

Jake contended that he wasn't posting these allegations in a video to start drama, but to give attention to the important issue of assault.

But Banks quickly hit back with a video of his own, claiming that beyond the fact that he was at the bar at the same time as Meg, Team 10 was fabricating their story in an attempt to destroy his career and mess up what he had with Alissa. He said that Team 10 reached out to him before making their video and admitted they thought the incident was an accident, only to turn around and say he did it on purpose and is a danger to other people. He also stated that members of Team 10 came to his table and fed him drinks that he believes to have been spiked since he began acting loopy and couldn't remember anything after Warwick that night.

Banks concluded his video by announcing he was suing Team 10 for defamation of character.

Jake's subscriber count plummeted by over 60,000 followers while Banks' rose by 200,000 in the wake of the allegations.

August 19, 2017 — Jake backtracks.

In a video titled "Here's what's really happening...," Jake admitted that he didn't handle the situation with Banks responsibly.

"I truly felt like we weren't handling the situation the right way," Jake explained. "We weren't being good role models for you guys online and it's just like this whole high school drama back-and-forth thing that's never going to end. And I'm all about positivity and doing things the right way. I'm not here to hurt anyone or harm anyone.... I don't want anyone to look bad and it's just not the right way to handle the situation."

He went on to announce that he and Banks would be handling the assault incident off-camera.
