Mario Benedetti Mario Benedetti is one of the renowned writters in Spanish from the 20th Century. He was from Uruaguay but due to polytical problems on his home country in the 1970's he went to exile, living part of his life in between Cuba and Spain. He has a very large work, where we can find novels, tales, poetry and essays but he is famous for his poems. Why are his poems so famous? I think he is able to make you understand what he was thinking while he was writting them and you can emphatazise easily with him, understanding what he was feeling and sometimes feeling in the same way. Also, I like his metaphores and analogies. In short, I recommend this nice author to everyone.

He was from Uruguay but due to political problems in his home country in the 1970's he went into exile, living parts of his life in between Cuba and Spain. He has a very large body of work, where we can find consisting of novels, tales, poetry and essays but he is most famous for his poems.
Why are his poems so famous? I think he is able to make you understand what he was thinking while he was writing them and you can empathise easily with him, understanding what he was feeling and sometimes feeling in the same way.
Also, I like his metaphors and analogies.
In short, I recommend this nice excellent author to everyone.
