In last night's Valentine's Day episode, Callum 'Halfway' Highway (Tony Clay) failed dramatically in his mission to woo Whitney Carter (Shona McGarty).
EastEnders spoilers showed someone had set the loveable fool up, by leading him to believe Whit had sent him a romantic card.
The EastEnders cast member then went to extreme measures to try and sweep Whit off her feet, and put together a delicious meal.
Side note: Thank goodness somebody told him that a way to a woman's heart is through her stomach, right?
It wasn't long before the barmaid snubbed Halfway and put a stop to his advances.
Devastated audiences raced to Twitter with their hearts aching for the newbie.
Little did they know that the character is already loved up.

In real life, Tony isn't so unlucky in love.
The hunk is in romantic bliss with girlfriend Olivia Griffin and the pair celebrated their one-year anniversary last August.
Tony regularly keeps his fans updated with gushing couple snaps on his Instagram page.
In his latest post, the star posted a heartwarming pic of him and his missus, and he even had a love heart emoji in the caption.

Tony joined the EastEnders cast on New Year's Day and in the climax of the botched heist he shot Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter (Danny Dyer).
Since his grand entrance, he's lodging at the Carter residence and helping out in the boozer.
Will he ever find the equivalent to Olivia in Albert Square though?
