Here are some updated pics (as of 1/2/2012) of my HT/2 channel system. During a one year search period I was fortunate enough to demo various speakers to replace my Polk Audio RTI-12 fronts. During my search I came across the Focal 1038BE II and instantly fell in love with their sound. They consist of three 7" woofers, a 6-1/2" midrange. 1-1/4"(27mm) pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter.

M2Tech Young
99% of my music is in flac, apple lossless,and mp3 format. Therefore, I needed a high performance USB DAC to compliment my system. The M2Tech Young is a very high value-for-money D/A converter capable of handling up to 384kHz sampling rate and 32 bit resolution (USB input). It also has a high speed asynchronous USB input and (S/PDIF on RCA and BNC, AES/EBU on XLR and optical on Toslink) connections.

The newest addition to my system. This center is sleek in design and sounds fantastic. It weighs approx 40lbs and has the same beryllium tweeter used on the towers. I am very happy with the sound.

iPad intergration is not fully complete. I plan on using an app like iRule or similar in the future. So far it serves as a display/remote for music listening, web browser and can also control the cable box program guide/dvr.

Best remote I've ever owned. This remote has been around a long time and so far is one of the oldest and most irreplaceable components in my system. It does everything, and is fully customize-able. Way ahead of its time.

TSU 9600: This remote controls all my gear including the lights, and blinds. It does two way communication with my pc and displays the music I am playing on my pc without having to use my display.

Three channel 150 watt per channel amplifier.

Two and a half times lighter than titanium, but 7 times more rigid with the same mass (Beryllium is the only metal able to scratch glass), this material combines all these qualities to offer high efficiency and a bandwidth very extended in the high frequencies.

HTPC with Antec Fusion Black enclosure. Imon remote and some Wifi control via TSU9600.

PC has approx 2.5TB of space, Intel core i7 (3.2 GHz, 8 gigs of ram, 64x operating system.)

Running Windows 7 MCE and Media Browser for Blu-rays.
Foobar2000 and Monkeymote or Squeezebox app on Ipad for music.

Future improvements - Digital cabel tuner card.

The Odyssee Candela is the newest addition to my set-up. Its a Vacuum Tube pre-amp with HT Bypass.

HTPC using Windows 7 and Media Browser frontend and Happauge HD PVR tuner (retired) to record HD.

Nelson Pass is one of the most inovative and widely respected designers of audio amplifiers. I am furtunate enough to have the X3; a 3 channel 150 watt amplifier and a X250; a two channel 250 amplifier.The X250 operates in "Class A" to roughly 75 watts. From there, it goes into Class A/B operation, which gives you momentary pulses of more power if you need it.

Finally added these to my system!! I installed 3 ButtKicker Mini LFE's to the underside of my theater chairs. I fastened them to the back of the chair which is made up of 3/4 inch ply. I also purchased the rubber isolators for the feet which are a must even with carpet.

The transducers are powered by the BKA1000-N Amplifier. I would say this is one of the most entertaining additions I've ever added to my theater so far. Friends and family all love sitting in the chairs and experiencing the boom during explosions and scenes with good LFE. It definitely brings the "WOW" factor.

Absolutely top shelf Audio equipment. I also use the Polk RTi12s as my mains, however your choice of Focals will easily blow the RTi12s away. Love the Pass Labs amp selection you chose. Super nice set up.
