My unexpected friendship
Would you quarrel and fight with your best partner? For me, I nearly broke
our relationship unconsciously. It was the first time that I came to W City on 25
July,
2011.
Fortunately
,
I
got
an
internship
opportunity
in
a
bank
that
was
located
along
W
Road.
In
order
to
learn
as
much
knowledge
as
I
could
in
the
bank, I did
my best
to work and
got to the bank as early as possible. Because I
did
not
know
much
about
the
people
and
the
place
of
W
City
,
so
I
always
appeared
to
be
vey
prudential
when
I
was
walking
on
road.
It
was
a
weekend
day
in
August and I walked along W Road to
the bank.
There
was a crosswalk
on the
middle between
my dormitory and bank, and
the crosswalk
was crowed
on
weekend
days.
I
walked
across
the
crosswalk
quickly
as
before.
It
seemed
that everything was going well.
Suddenly
I
was
collided
by
a
moving
bicycle,
I
just
felt
quite
hurt
at
that
moment. It was strange that the guy did not say anything apologetic to me. So I
scolded
him
in
a
low
voice
based
on
my
instinct.
May
be
these
words
were
heard by the young guy
, and he ran to my face with some bad languages at once.
At
this
time,
we
stood
face
to
face
intensively
.
I
said
that
it
was
the
guy`s
responsibility
,
as
we
all
know,
all
the
vehicles
including
bicycle
should
dodge
pedestrian. But, the young guy did not agree with my point, he persisted that the
pedestrian
should
dodge
bicycle
because
the
bicycle
did
not
belong
to
automobile. Although we two wanted to get excuse and reparation from another,
we could
not convince each other. As time passing by
, we quarreled
with each
other aloud. At this time,
more and
more people assembled around
us, our
ultra
behavior
blocked
the
traffic
some
time
later.
About
ten
minutes
later,
two
policemen came to the crosswalk. They said that we should
go to police station
if we wanted to mediate the situation. Following the two policemen, we walked
to the nearest police station.
I was puzzled by the problem
that
why the policemen came to the
scene so
quickly
.
Reaching
the
police
station,
we
told
the
policemen
the
exact
process
and
what
we
wanted.
In
order
to
master
our
basic
information,
the
policemen
told us to hand on our ID cards, at this very moment, I caught sight of the young
guy`s ID card and his name was Zhang Lei, a same name with my partner when
I
was
young.
The
things
that
shocked
me
mostly
was
his
address,
it
appeared
that
his
hometown was
in southern
town of Kai Xian, which was the same with
mine obviously
.
I called him Zhang Lei directly and told him my name was Han Jianfei. He
looked
so
surprised
about
my
name
and
appearance
because
of
more
than
15
years` separation. He told
me
he settled
himself
down
in W City when
he
left
for
the
hometown.
From
another
aspect,
he
still
remembered
the
little
partner
obviously
,
I
was
moved.
Although
the
policemen
comprehended
our
situation,
they
still
asked
our
ideal
solutions
as
their
routine.
We
nearly
said
that
it
was
my
responsibility
respectively
at
same
time.
But
the
policemen
taught
us
that
we
should
do
our
best
and
be
polite
to
avoid
this
phenomenon
in
the
future.
