I want an mc with solid goals(doesn't matter if evil goals or not), a solid story, without stupid drives. ex of such, jujutsu kaisen: the boy is really fighting monsters just because his grandfather told him to have a proper death, tf. |

| Kenichi the Ultimate Disciple is another great shounen where friendship means nothing. I would so Berserk, but you probably seen that by now. Chivalry of a Failed Knight has friendship being rather useless, but the story is kind of meh. |
