Shao Yanpeng aka Shao, is China's first artist signed by legendary techno label Tresor records. He was born in 1981 and now based in Beijing. Under the influence of traditional eastern music, German industrialization and Bauhaus style, he has always been exploring the multiple options of abstract and minimalist sound. Tensions are interweaved with restrained emotions, and a sense of space running through the movement, can be felt - calm, solid, yet highly impressive.

SHAO, previously known under the moniker Dead J, released Mental Magic, Psychedelic Elephant, Tíng,Tái,Lóu,Gé and so on between 2005 and 2008.

He was named ''Best Electronic Artist'' at the 2007 China Music Media Awards for his album Mental Magic.

In 2015, he signed legendary techno label Tresor records, joined Tresor ranks as China's first artist, and released new EP Doppler Shift Pt.1. Beyond his profound characterization of space, this EP marks his bold attempt to transfer from Ambient and IDM to Techno.

Su，喜欢Techno/Minimal/Ambient及实验电子风格，期待未来接触到更多能产生共鸣的音乐类型，从事电子音乐工作的经历，使她在时间的进程中获得不断探索可能性和创造意义的勇气，通过自己对电子音乐的理解和诠释来让更多的人接触到电子音乐的场景。Techno和Minimal音乐所营造的氛围于她如同一个自由广阔的时空，在此她可以尽兴发挥想象和实践思想。她曾同Boris、Tobias、Barnt、Shao、DJ Krush、FritzKalkbrenner、Oliver Koletzki、Steve Bug等国内外知名DJ制作人同台,2016年11月受约参加了Boiler Room Beijing的演出。

善于用视觉表达的他，『VJ』、『灯光师』的专业身份，并没有阻止感官上的探寻，从小对机械声和虫鸣敏感的他，在声音的殿堂中接受了Techno的指引下，孟开始用音乐表达自己、表达生命——微妙变化、精致细节是他的基本语言，用震动让舞池疯狂，是他缜密严谨数字工作。

拥有音乐的孟，是真诚、自如的，在钢铁森林里，他把音乐分享出来，以他自己独有的姿态，以Techno的形式美学，震动着舞池里的每一个灵魂。

2004年入行，十年间曾在全国各地知名夜店驻场，丰富的舞台经验让他的台风更加沉稳大气。深厚的职业经验及对电子音乐的挚爱使他迅速成为各大电子音乐派对中的宠儿，沉稳深邃而富有弹性的音乐风格让人着迷。

NUART艺术节由NU SPACE和明堂创意工作区主办，是一个独立的音乐和艺术节，展示来自中国一些最令人兴奋的独立音乐厂牌的最创新性的艺人，尤其是那些结合了新媒体和数字艺术的，创造一个合作的视听表演环境。

今年的第四季NUART，将展示三十多位艺人，跨越两个室内舞台，和由Paradise Records与New Noise举办的街头派对和黑胶市场在充满独立摊位和社区精神的奎星楼街上。

为了庆祝成都的多元的夜生活，今年NUART很高兴跟成都最受欢迎的三个俱乐部：Nomad, Funky Town方糖和.TAG合作举办三个after派对。

NUART门票持有人免费入场。

Hosted by NU SPACE and MiNTOWN Studio Community, NUART Festival is an independent music and arts street festival that showcases fresh, genre-breaking artists from some of China’s most exciting independent labels, especially those who incorporate new media and digital art, bringing together like-minded creatives into a collaborative audio-visual performance environment.

This year marks the fourth year of NUART and will feature over thirty artists across two indoor stages, with a street party and vinyl market hosted by Paradise Records and New Noise, art installations, open studios and a street packed with independent stalls and community spirit.

To celebrate the pulse of Chengdu nightlife, this year NUART is pleased to announce three after parties in collaboration with three of the city’s most beloved nightspots: Nomad, Funky Town and .TAG.
