LM2623EV: LM2623Q1

Hi ,

I wish to use LM2623Q1 for a DC/DC converter .

Input : Single cell AAA Alkaline( 1.5V)

Output : 5V  ( max load is ~ 0.3A)

1. is it a good choice ?

Can I use LM2623EV evaluation board to test this application ( please mind I use single cell Alkaline as input supply)
