How is it that this has NOT been reviewed yet?? This place is one of those that you just can't believe you have found.

I needed Look Pedals, but before purchasing new ones online or in one of the expensive places my hubby told me about this place that he had just heard about through The Miami Bike Scene. So of course we headed out.

It is in a garage mechanic type setting. Elegant? OH absolutely not. This is your true blue city bike guy. No new shiny bikes here, but used, recycled GREAT bikes. You can find or donate. He also works with any kid who wants to fix his bike they can come here, use the tools and work with parts he has available.

He also fixes bikes. NOTE: He will give you a loaner while he fixes, talk to him about it. Hey this guy is for real, he loves bikes, he loves riding, loves cyclists, all of them.

Oh yes, those look pedals? FIVE FREAKING BUCKS! I love this guy. I also needed some spare gear plates for a room i am decorating. Got a bunch of old never to be used again ones for a buck.

Andres is the real deal, a guy who loves bikes and wants to bring it to the community. Open weekends only, check him out and show some support!

We had noticed the post on Miamibikescene.blogspot.com about this place opening in South Miami and promptly made the trek down to this store to see if for ourselves.

This place is a gem, just the kind of spots that start giving Miami an eclectic feel. I mean we have enough chains and national franchises, it is always good to see back to basic, home grown, small business that serve a purpose in the community.

You can find parts for your bike, used bikes and some really unusual bicycles here. It is a great place to get you a used bike in excellent condition for a decent price and make you a fan of cycling.

We have been here a couple of times already, and always manage to make some pretty good finds, in fact, I just upgraded my Mountain bike for a really good deal and my sweet Carla found herself a pair of awesome, almost vintage, perfect condition Look pedals for her Lemond Revmaster.
Triple Bonus !!! On Saturdays you will find Ms. Cheezious parked here, and there is nothing better than shopping on a full stomach.

Yeah, the herald wrote an article about this place, but I didn't just read the article on this guy, I went and experienced the place for myself.

Way cool! I have been on a hunt for a classic used bike. The type of bike you can leave unlocked and not have to worry cause no one will steel it. After months of scouring Miami areas for pawn shops, out of the way bike shops, and even resorting to offering a guy money for the bike he was on, I found it.

Miami Recycle Bike shop has Frankenstein like bikes. The bike I found was a Panasonic (didn't even know they make bikes) old, faded purple bike turned into single speed. I asked the bike mechanic to remove the brakes, and replace the handle bars for the look I've been imagining. I'm like a kid with a NEW/OLD toy!

Discovered this hole in a wall location by accident. They have alot of used bikes that they fix up and sell. They are in a warehouse area so the streets do not have alot of traffic which makes it easy to test drive any bikes that meet your fancy. It may take a few trips to find what you are looking for as their inventory changes based on donations. They also offer repairs.
