nimble is a strategic communications consultancy working with long-term and project-based clients primarily in British Columbia and Alberta.

Led by nimble principal Jill Hilderman, we form a small team of talented independent collaborators to execute on each distinct assignment.

We help clients with anything from strategic communications planning and brand creation to digital strategy; program or marketing materials, social marketing campaigns, ecommerce websites and everything in between.

 

Jill Hilderman is a proven strategist, project manager and writer.

Jill has been a communications professional since 1995. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Communications degree from Mount Royal University and is accredited through the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

After five years as the public relations lead for a provincial nonprofit helping women to start their own businesses (when Jill imagined she would never be an entrepreneur), she joined a renowned Calgary communications agency to further hone her project management and writing skills.

In 2002 she was inspired to establish her own consultancy and has never looked back. Clients have come through referrals and stayed. They continue to refer others. Jill works in BC’s and Alberta’s business and nonprofit sectors. Also qualified to support public engagement initiatives she works with municipalities or aligned consulting and development firms.

Jill values relationships above all and it shows in the network of clients and collaborators she’s attracted. She’s UK-born (although ran away to Canada at age 20) and has a keen sense of humour that she loves to share.
