Abstract�� A degradable material\|polyketone (STCO),poly(1\|oxo\|2\|phentrimethylene),was prepared by solution copolymerization of carbon monoxide (CO) with styrene (ST) in the presence of a catalyst composed of palladium acetate,bident ligand 2,2��\|bipyridyl and strong acid et al.The effect of aminosulfonic acid,BF\-3.OEt,kinds and amount of cupric ion on the catalytic activity of the copolymerization were discussed.The results showed that catalyst has good catalytic activity and R can reach 581.38g (STCO)��g -1 (Pd)��h -1 .Polyketone,the product of solution copolymization of CO with ST,is an alternative copolymer of CO and ST.Cupric p \|toluenesulphonate has cocatalytic activity.
