Full coverage: EgyptAir Flight MS804 Missing

An amateur video showing a large fireball - suspected to be the ill-fated Flight MS804 catching fire - is circulating on Greek social media sites.

The unverified footage shows a fireball with a long trail of smoke in the night sky. A Greek citizen has uploaded the video, but gave no details.

In addition, a captain of a commercial ship had reported sighting of a flame in the sky near the Greek island of Karpathos.

Greek authorities are now verifying if the footage is related to the missing plane.
