I have a new HP laptop and not sure about charging the battery.  Should I allow it to drain down to the system says plug into power source or do I need to charge like when it is at 50% power left?  I want to be sure to get the most out of the battery's life.  Believe it or not, this laptop replaces my old Toshiba laptop that I purchased in 2003 and yes it still works and the battery is the original and holds a charge of about and hour-two hours depending on what I am on working on.  So I would like to be able to get the best possible longevity out of the battery's life.  Thanks in advance for your help.
