王一丁，博士，教授，英国中兰开夏大学博士生导师，北京市创新人才，北方工业大学智能信息处理研究所副所长，主持和参加国家973计划、国家自然科学基金、国家863计划、国家科技支撑计划等国家级和省部级科研项目12项，获得授权发明专利5项，软件著作权9项，申请发明专利5项；发表的学术论文90余篇，其中被SCI、EI收录60余篇。培养硕士研究生28名，培养博士研究生2名。

简介：
王一丁教授主要从事可见光图像、视频图像、遥感图像处理与识别等工作，目前在研国家自然科学基金课题“有源编码辐射定标中的关键问题研究”为遥感图像的定量分析提供了重要基础；在研863计划课题“基于脸像与步态层次化融合的人群特性分析与识别技术”子项目研究基于多摄像机融合的视频序列分析与识别；在研横向项目“图像识别系统”基于网络平台分析图像及视频中的敏感信息，中期的阶段成果已投入使用。在学术上具有特色的工作和研究积累还包括：
(1)研究人的个性化特征，结合图像检索技术，提出了一系列基于人脸的视频检索与比对的方法，这些方法包括低分辨率图像中人脸的检测与识别、人脸图像超分辨处理、红外图像人脸识别、人脸老化模型等，基于这些方法的核心技术开发了“图像合成与人的个性化特征识别”、“人像比对系统”和“在线与离线视频人脸检索系统”等应用系统。其中“人像比对系统”已用于天安门地区流动人口的智能化管理；“在线与离线视频人脸检索系统”正在结合863项目要求做进一步的工作。
(2)在国内较早开展了遥感图像的编码辐射定标技术研究，在编码辐射定标方法、原理和误差模型与分析等方面进行了深入的研究，解决了遥感图像定量分析中存在的难点问题。其中提出了一种编码误差模型与精度分析方法，发表在国际刊物IEEEGeosciencesandRemoteSensingLetters（第一作者，SCI收录）。
